HISTORY OF KVBOA

KarurVysya Bank Officers Association has been formed in the year 1965 to address the grievances of the Officer cadre Employees. KVBOA is affiliated to AIBOC in the year 1985 and our representatives were there in the AIBOC in different levels. Our Association has came long way of more than five decades and as Trade Union, our achievements are remarkable.

Few words about Association

The association own building with spacious guest rooms meeting halls and office was inaugurated 07.12.1986
The association celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1990
To fulfil Social obligations, KVBOA Educational Trust was formed in the year 1992 and runs an Educational institution in the Outskirts of Karur, which is upgraded as a Matriculation school
Presently our strength of members are
During the last five decade of years, KVBOA has secured many improvements in the service conditions to our officers.
The Association is making every effort not only to unite the officers under one banner, but also to protect their work life and provide better service conditions for them through struggles and Bipartite negotions.
Office bearers and some of the committee Members are well trained in the matters pertaining to domestic enquiries.

All India Bank Officers Confederation:

The KarurVysya Bank Officers Association is affiliated to All India Bank Officers confederation which is the unifying force of the bank officers in the country.

AIBOC is premier organization of Bank Officers in the country at the industry level, commanding an overwhelming majority of around 8 lacs officers drawn from various banks. AIBOC has been recognized as the principal bargaining agent both by IBA and the Government. AIBOC is purely a non-political central trade union and is run by serving officers of banks.

During the last two decades, AIBOC has secured many improvements in the service conditions of Bank Officers. The latest agreement on salary revision for Bank Officers bears ample testimony to the bargaining strength of AIBOC
