Rs.100/- for every month is collected from the members of the Association and kept in the general savings fund and this amount will be refunded with interest to members on superannuation or in the event of death or on Resignation. Eventhough amount seems to be very less, it will be forced savings for the members and on superannuation it will give the handsome amount in the hands of the members on retirement. Presently OA is offering 8% PA rate of interest on accumulated fund of members, this scheme is similar to Recurring Deposit scheme of our bank. The members are not allowed to withdraw the amount for any purpose. Joining to this scheme is automatically enabled once any officers become the member of the association. This scheme is introduced to induce the habit of savings in members.
